I haven't posted anything for so long, and I'm still not quite ready to come back yet. Everything is fine, but I've been occupied with some important family matters. I hope to be back in the new year.
In the meantime, I thought that I could share some helpful articles on various aspects of homesteading. Most of these were found through Pinterest. I have found Pinterest to be a great resource for connecting with other farmers, homesteaders, emergency preparedness types, and organic-real-food folk!
Hope you find these links useful:
P.S. I use cocoa powder and melted coconut oil instead of chocolate chips for the coating, with raw honey or stevia to sweeten.

These are great! Thank you for sharing...
Thanks, Andi! It's good to hear from you, thanks for commenting :-).
Up here you don't have to 'preserve' garlic. Even without a root cellar our properly cured garlic lasts at least a year.
Paula, in the colder areas it will save a lot of work not having to can garlic. There's enough canning to do as it is! But I wouldn't mind pickling some garlic. I bought a couple of jars from my farmers market and it's really tasty!
I've never tried pickled garlic. Maybe I'll give it a try next year.
Thank you for sharing Brenda!!!
Claudine, sorry it took me so long to publish your comment. We've been away for a few days. Glad you enjoyed the links. By the way, I made those chocolate truffles and they are addictive!
